Railway Engineering

Collins has an established record of providing a full line of engineering services to the railway industry. Additionally, Collins is very active within the railway community, with staff members serving on several railway organisation committees. We promote the ongoing development of personnel and have an in-house training program in which state-of-the-art courses keep our employees current in railway engineering, fall protection and track safety. Experience includes design and inspection for bridges of all types and materials, embankment and retaining structures, depots, trackage, and other railway related facilities. Collins’ design experience also includes phased and temporary works that minimise disruption to rail traffic and keep trains moving.
