Principal Bridge Inspection

Collins has been involved in numerous principal bridge inspection projects. Our firm has a wealth of experience in bridge inspection work, including element level routine inspections, fracture critical inspections, and in-depth inspections for design, damage and other types of bridge inspections. Most of our engineering staff has completed bridge inspection training, and others have authored and taught bridge inspection training courses in Ireland and the USA.

Collins' project experience is diverse. However the design, analysis, and assessment of structures remains the common thread of our expertise. From the preparation of structure inspection manuals and presenting bridge inspection courses to the testing and evaluation of cracked welds on a truss chord, we provide a hands-on and service oriented approach to all of our clients.
